Coffee filters have many more uses than you might think. In many of these uses coffee filters can even be rinsed and reused, or used for another purpose. They are less expensive than napkins and paper towels. They create less trash in our landfills than some of the items that would typically be used for the same tasks below. They also take up less space for storage before we use them They easily fit folded up in a purse, backpack, glove box, etc. They are biodegradable.
- Put a coffee filter between plates when storing.
- Great for wrapping small items when packing for moving and save the big packing paper for larger items.
- Nonstick pots and pans, use one to keep the surface from being scratched when you stack them.

Bonus Tip: We all get extra packets of soy sauce, duck sauce, mustard, etc. with our take out orders. Freeze a few of these. They make a great mini ice pack for minor scrapes and bumps. Especially if you have a child that "likes the attention" when they get a boo boo.
